  1977 - September 26 - Monday - The Corning Leader:
 Mrs. Nettie Rikeldifer, 81, of 58 Griffith St., died today in Arnot-Ogden Memorial Hospital, Elmira. She had been a patient there a year and one half. She was born Dec. 5, 1895, the daughter of Lafayette and Mary Emma Shaw Neal. She was retired from Corning Fibre Box Co. in 1961 and this year would have received her 50-year pin. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. Surviving are one son, Robert F. Maloney of Corning; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Pearl Clark of South Corning. Funeral arrangements were incomplete today at the Phillips Funeral Home in Corning. They will be published in Tuesday 's Leader.
  1977 - September 27 - Tuesday - The Corning Leader:
 Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family for Mrs. Nettie Rikeldifer of 58 Griffith St. She died Monday. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be in Coopers Plains Cemetery. The Rev. Wallace Robinson, associate pastor of Grace United Methodist Church, will officiate at the funeral service. The Phillips Funeral Home in Corning is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Rikeldifer was born Dec. 5, 1895 in Missouri.
