a. Note:   1968 - April 19 - Fri. - Sun Gazette - Williamsport:
 Delos Avery, 62, of 1065 West Fourth Street, who was stricken ill at his home at 10 p.m. Thursday, April 18, 1968, was pronounced dead on arrival at the Williamsport Hospital. Mr. Avery was employed as a maintenance man at the hospital. He was born here July 6, 1905, the son of Friend and Lottie Mann Avery. Surviving are his wife; the former Harriet May Miller; two sons, Dorland L., of Trenton, N.J., and Marine Staff Sgt. William R., of Memphis, Tenn., and six grandchildren. The funeral will be at 1? 30 p.m. Monday at Maneval's, 711 West Fourth Street. The Rev. Lyle S. Bundy, pastor of St. Paul's Evangelical United Brethren Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Montoursville Cemetery.
