Note: 1950 - July 13 - Chronicle Express - Penn Yan, NY: Alfred Huey and family of Interlaken spent the weekend with his mother, Mrs. Edna Huey of Tyrone. 1994 - Jan. 21 - Syracuse Herald-Journal: Alfred D. Huey, 79, of Tyrone died Wednesday in North Port, Fla. Mr. Huey was a native of Tyrone. He retired in 1979 after 29 years as a machine tool engineer with Cincinnati Milacron Co. and later operated a private consulting firm, which was hired to direct the machine rebuild division of Lipe Rollway Corp. He also owned and operated Green Valley Restaurant and Campground. Surviving are his wife, the former Marian Bale; two daughters, Marianne Aarons of Tyrone and Dorothy Huey of Ithaca; three grand children; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Weston Presbyterian Church. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 8 :30 p.m. Saturday at Royce-Chedzoy Funeral Home, Watkins Glen. Contributions may be made to Agora MicroEnterprise Development Corp. Alfred was buried in Tyrone Union Cemetery
