Mrs. Anna Snyder Roupp, wife of Francis Roupp, Liberty, died Tuesday, December 31, 1963, at the Blossburg State Hospital. She was 83. Mrs. Roupp attended the former Mansfield State Normal School and was a retired teacher in the Liberty-Arnot area. She and her husband operated a grocery store in Liberty for about 50 years. She was a charter member of Twilight Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, in Mansfield. She was a member of the Liberty Lutheran Church. Born in Liberty, She was the daughter of George and Mary Heyler Snyder. Surviving besides her husband are a son, Francis Jr., of Athens; a daughter, Miss Bernice Roupp, Rome, N.Y., and two grandchildren. Burial was in Friedens Cemetery.
