James A. Heether, of 902 Washington Blvd., died at 5:15 a.m. today, Thursday, April 27, 1972, in the Divine Providence Hospital. He was born here, son of John D. and Della Harer Heether. A Bucknell University graduate with a master's degree from Cornell University, Mr. Heether taught Chemistry at Lycoming College from 1955 until retiring. He previously taught at Willow Grove High School. He was a member of Third Street United Methodist Church. He was also a member of Lodge 106, F&AM. his only survivor is a brother, Edward P., city. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Maneval's 500 West Fourth St, with the Rev. John N. Mostoller, pastor of First Church of Christ, Disciples, officiating. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
