 Mr. Lewis Instantly Killed by Fall of Rock
 An Excellent Citizen - He Leaves a Family
 Blossburg, March 14- William J. Lewis was struck by a stone and instantly killed this morning about 7 0'clock. He was working in the mines of Bennett and Evans. He and his brother, Alfred, were working together and had just begun their day's work. Mr. Lewis was in the act of setting a prop when a large stone weighing about 200 pounds fell from the roof striking him on the head. His neck was broken. Mr. Lewis was 53 of age. He leave s a wife, a son, Alfred, who is a telegraph operator near Chicago, a daughter, Edith, a teacher in the public schools in this place, and May, 12 years of age. Mr. Lewis formerly lived in Arnot, but has lived in Blossburg for many years. He had many friends in this locality. Mr. Lewis married a sister of Mrs. W. E. Champaign and Mrs. Richard H. Smith, of Wellsboro.
  1907 - Aug. 16 - Friday - "The Blossburg Advertiser": Mrs. Angie Lewis, of Blossburg, and Mr. Homer Treat, of Morris Run, were married Wednesday afternoon, August 7th, at the residence of the bride's sister, Mrs. William E. Champaign. The ceremony was performed by Rev. William Heakes, of St . Paul's Episcopal church, Wellsboro. Mr. and Mrs. Treat went to Morris Run the same evening where they will reside.

 bride - Angie Lewis, age 48, nurse, living in Wellsboro, former husband died March 14, 1905, daughter of Dan and Rachel Neal. Rachel and Homer were married in Wellsboro.

 Mrs. Angie Neal Lewis of Blossburg died unexpectedly Friday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wesley Bower where she had been residing for two months. She would have been 85 yrs old Oct. 28. Mrs. Lewis was born in Liberty, the daughter of Daniel and Rachel Ridge Neal. Besides her daughter, she is survived by a son, Ralph, of the Veterans Facility Hospital at Bath, NY; a granddaughter, Miss Jean Bower, a member of the faculty of the Elkland School, (Elkland, Tioga County, PA); two grandsons, Cpl . Robert Bower of Indiantown Gap and William Bower of Blossburg.

 Mrs. Angie Neal Lewis, a native of Liberty, died Friday morning, Oct. 24 , at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wesley Bower, in Blossburg. She had been ill for a week. Mrs. Lewis, who would have been 85 years of age Oct . 28 was the daughter of Daniel and Rachel Ridge Neal and resided in Liberty until her marriage to William Lewis. They moved to Blossburg and Mrs. Lewis resided there until 1906, two years after her husband's death, when she moved to Wellsboro. She returned to Blossburg two months ago. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal church of Wellsboro. A daughter, Miss Edith Emily Lewis, World War Nurse, died two months ago. Surviving in addition to Mrs. Bower, are a son, Ralph of Bath, N.Y.; granddaughter, Miss Jean Bower, of Elkland; two grandsons, Corp. Robert Bower, of Indiantown Gap, and William Bower, of Blossburg. Funeral services were held Sunday, Rev. Albert K. Hayward, of Wellsboro, officiating; burial in Arbon cemetery at Blossburg.
