1908-09 - Tioga County Directory for Blossburg is listed a Henry Miller, retired, owns home and lot on Granger St.
1910 - Feb. 24 - Wedding date - on his and Margaret's marriage application, he stated his age as 76, residing in Blossburg, Tioga County, PA, occupation - gentleman. His parents were Jacob and Hannah Miller. He was divorced in September 1876 in California by reason of desertion.
1910 - April 28 - census - Blossburg Boro:
Henry Miller, age 75, married twice, married 0 years, he and parents b. Switzerland-Germany, immigrated in 1873, no occupation - owns home on Granger St. (toward Cottage State Hospital), can read and write
Margaret, wife, age 74, married twice, married 0 years, mother of 2 with 1 living, b. PA, dad b. Ireland, mom b. Germany, can read and write
1918 - Feb. 24 - Henry died. *NOTE - Henry died on the same month and day that he and Margaret were married*. He left no will. His wife, Margaret, received his real estate and personal effects.
Henry's birth date was stated as July 17, 1834 in the Bastian Funeral Home Records, Liberty, PA., although in the 1900 census, his birth date was stated as June 1834. Henry's death certificate stated he died in Jackson Twp., that he was buried in Arbon Cem., that he and his parents were born in Switzerland, that he died from inflamation of bladder.
1918 - March 6 - Wed. - The Agitator, Wellsboro:
Henry Miller, aged 83 years, died in Liberty, Sunday, February 24. Mr. Miller was born in Switzerland and came to Blossburg a number of years ago and opened a mercantile business which he conducted for several years. Besides his widow he is survived by a niece, Miss Marie Huber, of Wellsburg, N.Y. Funeral services were held Thursday at Liberty; burial was in Arbon cemetery, Blossburg
