Elizabeth Pritchard, b. 8-16-1826, Breckinshire, Wales, d. 1912, Corning, NY. It was reported they were first buried in Covet Cem., then later their remains removed to Arbon Cem, Blossburg, Tioga County, PA. they left Wales in 1858, landed in Philadelphia, traveled to Bloomsburg, Northumberand County, PA; probably because Elizabeth had a sister living there. In about 1869, they moved to Armenia Mtn. Family tradition says James received a dowry and was well-off. He never worked but rode a white horse and gave orders. All their sons were coal miners. 2. Charles Shafer Estep, 2-5-1865, Bloomsburg, 2-9-1943, Bradford County, b. East Troy, PA, m. on 12-3-1883, Helen Florence Scott, (ancestry traced back to Mayflower), 11-5-1860, 8-13-1930. 3. Nina Maude Vannoy, b. 10-9-1894, 11-10-1974, bur. Glenwood Cem. 4. Robert Estep. Robert's brother, Eldon, appears in Rutty genealogy m. to Hazel E. Strope. His other siblings were Gerald and Jeanine. According to genealogy submitted by Al Estep of Edinburg, TX, The Esteps were natives of England. The family had moved to Wales to obtain jobs where John Easthop was born. It was this John's grandson, James Estep, who was the immigrant to America.
