Note: 1898 - March 25 - Friday - Mention was made in the "Palo Items" in "The Blossburg Advertiser" that Fred had the misfortune of breaking his leg a week ago last Sunday by a horse falling on him. 1899 - Tioga County Directory, Fred is listed as having Palo, Lycoming County, as his post office, and he was listed as being a conductor for Northern Central RR, having a cider mill, and farming 100 acres. 1900 - June 7 - census - Union Twp.: Frederick Ebersole, b. April 1862, age 38, married 22 years, he and parents b. PA, conductor for railroad Lucy, b. Sept. 1865, age 34, 8 children born to her and 6 living, b. PA Jessie, b. July 1882, age 17, b. PA Francis, b. Dec. 1883, age 16, b. PA Myrtle, b. July 1885, age 14, b. PA Lottie, b. Jan. 1893, age 7, b. PA Adam, b. Oct. 1894, age 5, b. PA 1910 - April 19 - census - McIntyre Twp., Lycoming Co., PA: Frederick Ebersole, age 56, married 32 years, he and parents b. PA, yard master at railroad Lucy E., age 48, 8 children born to her and 5 living Charlotte, age 17 1938 - Aug. 18 - Thursday - "The Canton Sentinel": Frederick Ebersole of Ralston, died August 10, 1938, in an Elmira hospital. He was 84 years old and is survived by two daughters; Mrs. Lottie Hertel of Ralston and Mrs. Ida Condon of Canton; two sons, J. J. Ebersole of Ralston and W. F. Ebersole of Canton. The funeral was held Saturday afternoon at the home of his son in Ralston and interment was made in the cemetery at that place. Rev. James A. Farrar was the officiating clergyman.
