Note: 1870 - census - Union Twp., Tioga Co., PA: Oliver was a son of John and Susan Howard. Oliver is 16 yrs old. His father, age 50; his mother, age 45; brother, age 20; brother, age 18. 1906 - June 19 - Tuesday - "Canton Sentinal": Oliver Howard - Sunday afternoon - June 17, 1906 - Oliver Howard of Roaring Branch was in the field at the time of a heavy thunderstorm. He ran to the house as quickly as he could and at once partook of some ice cream. Before he finished the dish, he expired. He was about 50 yrs old and a very popular man.
