Obituary in "The Canton Sentinel", Thursday, March 3, 1932: Zelroy Hopkins died Tuesday afternoon after a few days illness of pneumonia. He was 43 years old and is survived by his wife, one daughter, Florence, and the following brothers and sisters: William of Canton; John Hopkins and Mrs. David Watkins of Elmira; Mrs. Burt Norman of Blossburg; Burt, of Williamsport; Melville, of Hanover. The funeral was held Thursday afternoon in the Baptist Church and interment was in Park Cemetery. "The Canton Sentinel", Thurs., Sept 30, 1909: The funeral of Romanine Rockwell, the infant son of Zelroy Hopkins was held last week Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Four little girls, Hazel and Grace Hopkins, Loretta Norman, and Dorothy Page acted as flower bearers and Lucy Tillotson, Mabel Benedict, Hazel Lovejoy, and Dena Ameigh acted as pallbearers.
