Note: Melvin/Melville was buried at Park Cemetery, Canton, Bradford County, PA. One of his sons was born Oct. 2, 1932. Next to Melvin and Bessie's grave is Robert Hopkins, born 13 July 1921 and died 16 Aug 1921; could be their son. Article in "The Canton World", Aug. 6, 1915: Melvin Hopkins, a foreman at the Minnequa Table Factory was stricken with appendicitis Tuesday. His appendicitis was so serious that on Wednesday morning he was taken to the Williamsport hospital where he was operated on immediately. His condition was favorable for recovery at last report.
