Note: Hazel was living in Mount Alto, PA, at the time of her brother's, Russell, funeral. Hazel died in the Quincy United Methodist Home, Quincy, PA. She graduated as a teacher from Mansfield State Teachers College, (now Mansfield University), and taught in Tioga County schools for several years. Then she taught in the Mont Alto Elementary School for a year and then at Penn Hurst School, South Mountain, PA. She was buried in Ogdensburg Cemetery. In her wedding announcement in "The Wellsboro Agitator", was stated that Hazel had been teaching school for the past two years at Vintondale and that she had made her home with Mr. and Mrs. Floyd W. Coe of Bloss for a number of years. She and William would be living in Taos, NM.
