a. Note:   Celista's obituary from the Elmira Star-Gazette, Aug. 16, 1917: Mrs. Lyman Hopkins of 378 Lyon street, died very unexpectedly, yesterday afternoon at 3:15 o'clock, aged nineteen years. She is survived by her husband, Lyman Hopkins, an employee of the Pennsylvania Railroad Co., to whom she had been married about one year; also her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Middaugh; two sisters, Mrs. Adah Baldwin, of Elmira and Mrs. Emogene Ford, of Greelcville, South Carolina; two brothers, Elbert Middaugh and Elwin Middaugh both of this city. The remains were removed to the Wilson undertaking rooms where a prayer service will be held Friday evening at 7:30 o'clock. The remains will be removed to Ogdensburg, Pa., Saturday morning. The funeral will be held at that place Saturday at 12 o'clock.
