Note: Oldean lived in Roaring Branch on the road leading to Ogdensburg. He joined the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) and was stationed at Matson, PA. In March of 1941, he entered in the United States Army and was in the North African Campaign. He was honorably discharged in 1945. He worked on the railroad, then for Lundy Lumber Company. Later he worked for PA State Highway Department, retiring from there. He was buried next to his sister, in the Pennsdale Cemetery, (Gray's Cemetery) Bodines, Lycoming County, PA.
