Note: Mabel and Ralph were married in the Methodist Church. They were living in Sayre, Bradford Co., PA, in 1947. Obituary in the Sun-Gazette, Williamsport: Mrs. Mabel L. Solt, wife of Ralph C. Solt, of 1895 Dewey Ave., died at 5 a.m. today, Monday, Oct. 20, 1980, in Sycamore Manor, where she had been a resident for the past two weeks. She was born February 9, 1902, at Marsh Hill, a daughter of Samuel A. and Elsie Stratton Heylmun. She was a member of Newberry United Methodist Church. Mrs. Solt also was a member of the Hesbon Senior Citizens. Surviving besides her husband, is a sister, Mrs. Charles F. Gordner, of this city. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Maneval's, 500 West Fourth Street, with the Rev. Karl S. Fetterman, her pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Twin Hills Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday. The family will provide the flowers. Ralph was a son of Conrad Francis Solt, Ferguson Twp., Centre Co., PA, and Ida Grace Gares, born in Oak Hall, PA. In the 1910 Williamsport Census, Ralph is age 12 living with his Uncle Sibert Solt. Solt, 86, a resident of Leader Nursing Center South the past four years and formerly of the 1800 block of Dewey Ave., died at 10 a.m. today, Monday, Nov. 12, 1984, in the Divine Providence Hospital. His wife, Mabel Solt, died in October 1980. Born March 1, 1898, Bellfonte, Center Co., PA, he was a son of Conrad and Ida Gares Solt. Mr. Solt was a member of Newberry United Methodist Church. He was survived by nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, at Maneval's, 500 West Fourth St., with the Rev. Vernon I. Eichelberger, pastor of High Street United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy RD2. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday.
