Note: Margaret graduated from Williamsport High School in 1923. She was listed in the directory for their 40th anniversary that was held on June 29, 1963 and her present address was given as 317 E. Main St., Lock Haven. 1930 - April - census - Main St. - Lock Haven, Clinton Co., PA: Wilson Poorman, age 25, 1st married at age 24, he and parents b. PA, manager of motor club Margaret, wife, age 23, 1st married at age 22 "Sun-Gazette", Williamsport, Sat., March 30, 1974: Mrs. Margaret H. Poorman, 67, of 457 East Water St., died at 2:15 a.m. today, Saturday, March 30, 1974, at the Lock Haven Hospital. She was the widow of Wilson P. Poorman. She was born in Grays Run on July 12, 1906, a daughter of Samuel and Elsie Stratton Heylmun. Mrs. Poorman was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Lock Haven. A graduate of Williamsport High School and the Lock Haven Normal School, she was a teacher in the Lock Haven area for a number of years. Mrs. Poorman was a member of the Rowena Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star, Lock Haven, the Clinton County Shrine Auxiliary and the Hughsville Business and Professional Women's Club. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Richard L. Hunter, of Castanea; three sons, Paul A., of Detroit, Mich., Terry W., of Anderson, Ind., and Gary D., of Sterling, VA; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Gordner, with whom she lived, and Mrs. Mable Solt, of Williamsport, and thirteen grandchildren. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Helt's, 109 W. Church St., Lock Haven, with Rev. Donald G. Haulman, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, Lock Haven, officiating. Burial will be in Dunnstown Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday.
