Note: A lot of personal information on the Herbert and Elizabeth Canis Lee family was given to me by their son, "Jake" Harold Richard Lee.
1897 - April 4 - Herbert R. Lee was born to John Lee and Dora Hindmarsh. He was a coal miner, a Street Commissioner for Hastings, and worked for the PA Highway Department.
His faith was Methodist and his political stand was as a republican.
1902 - July 26 - birth of Elizabeth Canis in Ogdensburg according to Record of Births, page 196, line 25, at the Tioga County Courthouse, Wellsboro, PA. Her father's occupation was "farmer".
1971 - May 3 - Elizabeth Canis Lee died in Altoona, Blair Co., PA
1989 - Jan. 11 - Herbert died and was buried January 13, 1989, Union Cemetery, Hastings, Cambria County, PA.
