Note: 1985 - Sept. 30 - Evan died at his home, RD1 Mansfield, buried in Arbon Cemetery, Blossburg, PA. He was an army veteran of WW11 and was retired from J&B Mining, Blossburg. He was a member of the Blossburg Baptist Church, Blossburg and belonged to Bloss Lodge #350 F&AM and the Williamsport Consistory.
Evan had a nickname - "Pal".

(Moser) Eleanor, age 79, a longtime resident of Blossburg and Mansfield passed away peacefully Thursday July 8th 2004 at her home in Sebastion, Florida. She was born in Riverside, PA, March 10, 1925. She and her family moved to Blossburg where she went to school and then married Evan (Pal) Hall. They raised 5 children and enjoyed 39 years of marriage before his death September 30, 1985. Eleanor was an LPN at the Blossburg State Hospital and then worked at the Card Shop in Mansfield for many years. She enjoyed her large family, grandchildren, and was known for her great love of bingo playing. She was active in community affairs and was a former member of the Mansfield chapter of Order Eastern Star before her move to Florida. She is survived by her children, Mrs. Bonnie (David) Smith, Harris City, Florida, Mrs. Donna (Buster) Wilson, Blossburg, Mr. William C. (Sharon) Hall, Covington, Mrs. Darla (Bill) Haverley, Sebastion, Florida and Mr. James (Lucia) Hall, Mansfield. She was a loving grandmother to 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Also included among family survivors are sisters and brothers-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Brandi Haverley; and siblings, Clarence F. Moser Jr., Grace Kirk, Alma Johnson and Mildred Bittenbender. Her family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, July 11th from 6-8 p.m. at Freeburg Funeral Home, 120 North Williamson Rd, Blossburg. Funeral Services will be held Monday, July 12th, at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Jason Guillaume officiating. Burial will be in Arbon Cemetery, Blossburg.
