a. Note:   1906 - Byron was born to Edwin Alvin "Ed" Williams and Jessie Sechrist
  1930 - Marriage license #17610, Bradford Co.:
 Bride - Myrtie E. Canis; she stated she was a clerk, age 21, born in Ogdensburg and living in Canton; her dad was Francis Canis who was born in Ogdensburg, and living in Canton and was a carpenter; her mom was Bessie Treat who was born in Ogdensburg and living in Canton
 Groom - Byron Williams stated he was an electrician, born in Canton and living in Canton, age 24; his dad was Edwin A. Williams who was born in Troy and was also an electrician living in Canton; his mom was Jessie Sechrist who was born in Liberty and living in Canton.
  1930 - Sept. 25 - Thursday - "The Canton Sentinel":
 A pretty wedding was solemnized at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Francis S. Canis on Sunday at one pm when their daughter, Myrtle Elizabeth became the bride of Byron Gleason Williams, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Williams. The double ring ceremony was used by the Rev. J. W. Foust.
 The bride was attended by her sister, Marian Canis, acting as bridesmaid. Mr. William's best man was his brother, Richard Williams. The bride and bridesmaid wore gowns of blue chiffon with slippers to match and carried bouquets of pink roses and baby breath. The house was beautifully decorated in evergreen and garden flowers. After the ceremony, luncheon was served to twenty five guests.
 Mr. and Mrs. Williams are both graduates of Canton High School and are popular young people.
 Upon their return from a trip to Washington, D. C., New York, and Atlantic City, they will reside in Canton where Mr. Williams is in the electrical business.
  1977 - Aug. 24 - Myrtle Canis Williams died in Elmira
  1991 - Feb. 4 - Byron Williams died and was buried in Florida.
  Myrtle and Byron had no children.
