Note: 1906 - Aug. 4 - Rathbun's Grove in Ogdensburg - Miss Bessie Carey of Morris Run attended the 6th annual reunion of the descendants of Robert and David Stratton. 1908/09 - Tioga County Directory - lists Bessie as boarding at Water St, Morris Run, Hamilton Twp. (dad's home) 1910 - census - Hamilton Twp., Morris Run, Tioga County, PA: John Carey, widower, age 50; Bessie, dau., age 20; son, Francis H., age 15, Archie, grandson, age 2. It seems that Bessie gave birth to Archie before she married William. 1914 - July 20 - Marriage license #6555 at Wellsboro for Bessie and William. William E. was a son of William Hall and Mary Morgan who were both born in Wales. His father was not living when he married Bessie. He and his father were coal miners. 1920 - Jan. 30 - census - Hamilton Twp., Tioga County: William E. Hall, age 32, born Wales, immigrated to U.S. in 1890, naturalized in 1913. Bessie, wife, age 30 Archie, son, age 11 Agnes, daughter, age 9 John, son, age 3 11/12 Lo?, daughter, age 2 7/12 Arthur, son, age 1 1/12 1957 - Oct. 31 - Thurs. - The Agitator - Wellsboro: William Hall, 70, of North Williamson Road, Blossburg, Pa. died Sunday, October 27, 1957. A native of Wales, in the British Isles, he was the son of William and Mary Morgan Hall. He was a retired coal miner. Survivors include six sons, John Hall, of Tioga; Arthur, Evan and Ralph, of Blossburg; Robert, of Westfield, and Dean, with the Army; four daughters, Mrs. Agnes Kohler and Mrs. Bessie Hadley, of Blossburg; Miss Gladys Hall, at home, and Mrs. Frances Cleveland, of Mansfield; two brothers, Evan, of Orangeville and Thomas, of Barnsboro; a half brother, Lewis Estep, of Berwick; a step-brother, James Estep, of Central City; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Pierce, of Elmira, N.Y., and Mrs. Esther Esaias, of Canton, and a half sister, Mrs. Marie Parsell, of Orangeville. There are 24 grandchildren. 1957 - Bessie was buried in Ogdensburg Cemetery. 1969 - Sept. 11 - Thurs. - Wellsboro Gazette: Family Reunion Fifty two members of the William and Bessie Carey Hall family of Blossburg enjoyed their second annual reunion at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Hadley of Blossburg on Sunday.
