a. Note:   I believe Burgess Brackett was the son of Thomas Brackett, but can find nothing to prove it. Thomas was listed in the Muhlenberg Co. census in 1810, 1820, 1830 and 1840. In 1850, he was inthe Daviess County census.
  Notably, Thomas Brackett and John Lovelace were listed in the 1820 census just a few names apart. I think it is very possible that Burgess was Thomas' son and Celia was John's daughter.
