Note: THE STATE COLUMBIA S.C. 28 March 1965 S. Q. Eubanks Sr. LEESVILLE - Quimby Eubanks Sr, 67, of Leesville, died Saturday afternoon at Columbia Hospital. Mr. Eubanks was the son of the late Samuel D. and Mary Etta Satcher Eubanks and was a member of Leesville Methodist Church, a World War I veteran, a Mason and a salesman for Imperial Casket Co. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Eunice, Whittle Eubanks; one son, S. Q. Eubanks Jr., of Leesville; one brother, J. E. Eubanks of Augusta, Ga., and three sisters, Mrs. Kate Morgan of Valdosta, Ga., Mrs. Wilbur Johnson of Crescent City, Fla., and Mrs. Marshall Galloway of Warrenville. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m., Sunday at Barr Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. Grady Forrester, withinterment in Ridge Crest Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Ray 'Wood, Clarence Sanders, Bill King, P. D. May, Robert Rosse and Marion Sadler. Friends may call at the residence or Barr Funeral Home.
