Eubanks GRANITEVILLE - Benjamin Haskell Eubanks. a former member of the Aiken County Hospital Board of Trustees and retired textile company executive. died Monday in an Augusta hospital. He was 71. Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday in Posey's Funeral Home Chapel in Graniteville with Father Donald E. Chapman officiating. Burial will be in Graniteville Cemetery with Masonic rites. Mr. Eubanks of 100 Canal St. was born in White Pond. He graduated from Walton School of Commerce in Chicago and the University of Georgia. He worked with George C. Baird and Co. auditing firm before joining the Graniteville Co. in 1932. He retired in 1969 as chief accountant in charge of finance and taxes and assistant treasurer and manager of the real estate department. He was a life member and past master of Star Lodge No. 99 A.F.M. Surviving are: one daughter. Leila E. Carter. Jacksonville. Fla.: two sons. Albert J. Eubanks, West Columbia. and Arthur A. Eubanks. Stone Mountain. Ga.; and two brothers. Wiley S. Eubanks and Henry S. Eubanks. Augusta. Friends may call at the residence or at the funeral home. STATE RECORD Wed. Mar 24,1976 Benjamin H. Eubanks, 71 Retired Accountant, Dies, GRANITEVILLE - Benjamin Haskell Eubanks, 71 died Monday in St. Joseph�s Hospital at Augusta, Ga. Born at White Pond, he was a son of the late Arthur A. and Leila Scott Eubanks and husband of the late Katherine Stone Eubanks. Mr. Eubanks graduated from Walton School of Commerce, Chicago, Ill, and from the University of Georgia as a real estate appraiser. He worked with the George C. Baird and Co. auditing firm before joining the Graniteville Co. in 1932. He was chief accountant in charge of finance and taxes, assistant treasurer and manager of the real estate department when he retired in 1969. He was a life member and past master of Star Lodge No. 99, AFM, and formerly a member of the board of trustees of the Aiken County Hospital. Surviving are a daughter Mrs. Leila E. Carter of Jacksonville, Fla., two sons, Albert J. Eubanks of West Columbia and Arthur A. Eubanks of Stone Mountain, Ga., two brothers, Wiley S. and Henry S. Eubanks of Augusta, Ga., and seven grandchildren. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday as Posey�s Funeral Home, Graniteville. Burial with Masonic rites will be in the Graniteville Cemetery.
