Note: AIKEN STANDARD March 1997 Mr. Albert Eubanks Air Force Retiree AIKEN - Mr. Albert John Eubanks, 66, of 1174 Stiefel Road, died Wednesday, March 26, 1997 at Sevier County Medical Center, Tennessee. The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at St. John�s United Methodist Church with the Revs. George Duffie Jr. and Kenneth L. Nelson officiating. Burial will be in Graniteville Cemetery, Graniteville. Mr. Eubanks, a native of Augusta, retired from the Air Force and was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was a constable with Aiken County, past commander of American Legion Post No. 26 and a member of St. John�s United Methodist Church, where he was president of the United Methodist Men. Survivors include his wife, Joanne Stiefel Eubanks; two sons, J. Allen Eubanks and Michael H. Eubanks, both of Aiken; a sister Leila Eubanks Carter, Jacksonville, Fla.; and six grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the John Cannon Sunday School Class, the United Methodist Mens Club and the American Legion Post No. 26. Memorials may be made to St. John�s United Methodist Church Building Fund, 104 Newberry St., Aiken 29801. The family will receive friends at 561 Palmetto Lane, and from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Shellhouse Funeral Home.
