Note: 1800: Barnwell Deed Book A pg 140-141 The State of South Carolina Know all men by these Presents that I John Williams of Barnwell District in the State aforesaid and in Consideration of Five hundred Dollars to me in hand by William Cave of the District & State aforesaid have Granted Bargained Sold & Released and by these presents do Grant Bargain Sell & Release unto William Cave all that Plantation or Tract of Land containing Three hundred seventy seven acres being Part and Parcel of a larger Survey of Land containing Five hundred twenty five acres Situate in the District & State aforesaid on the waters of the river ketches.
