Note:   1856: Barnwell Court Mesne Conveyance, Volume LL, page 185, Wiatt Weathersbee purchased land on 7/7/1856 in sheriff's sale where son Hansford was defendant. 1857: Died in Barnwell District, South Carolina, on the 10th of March 1857, Brother Wyatt Weathersbee, in the 68th year of his age, leaving an affectionate wife and seven children...born in Barnwell District in 1789 and baptized at Treadway Church in 1825 1857: Court Minutes of Winton county, South Carolina A deed in Bk. LL, p. 185, states that Wiatt died 10 March 1857; that Hansford D. married Clarissa; Sarah married Wilson; and Francis married William Dicks. A deed on p. 301, states that Eleanor widow of James Weathersbee bought a lot in Aiken in 1850. *************************************************** Wiatt's will is recorded in Barnwell Co., S.C. Bk. 5, March 23, 1857. It was dated 27 Feb. 1855 and names wife Delila (Green, daughter of William Green) and children: 1. William Darling, 2. Hansford C., 3. James W. Wiatt, 4. Eliza A., 5. Sarah Weathersbe Treadway 6. He was born in Barnwell in the year 1789 and was baptized at Treadway Church 1825 and was ordained decon of that church 1834, and with faithfulness and tenderness he acted in the decon office for that church until the time of his death. Truly it may be said of him blessed are the dead which died in the Lord from henceforth.
