Note:   r son Johnny Brookbank and he hired his later to be wife Anna Rosene Williams to help take care of her until she died on 4-25-1939 in Green Castle, Mo. she also is buried in the Green Castle Cemetery in Sullivan Co. Mo Death was due to diabetes and she had been in poor health for 6 years. After she married John W. Brookbank in 1892, around Green Castle, Mo., 4 years later they moved to Colorado where they lived 6 years. She was converted and has lived a Christian Life. During her last days she was cared for by her husband, and son, Johnny, and Rosene Williams. Chris Dena had Diabetes very bad, and later died of it, she had to have help at home so Johnny hired Anna Rosene Williams to help her and help around the house, I understand that Chris Dena resented her and was jealous of Johnny's attentions toward Rosene, as Chris Dena got worse and she knew she was dying she told Rosene that she liked her very much and apoligized for not liking her, well Chris Dena died, and Johnny and Rosene decided to enter into a commom law marriage.
