Warwick Advertiser 20 Oct. 1904 obit
SIDNEY EDSALL The well known farmer of the town, whose home was near Amity, died last Saturday, of Jaundice, from which he had suffered for some time past and which had changed his color and made him conspicuous by such disfigurement.
Sidney Edsall was born near Amity 86 years ago and spent his life in the neighborhood. He was one of twelve children, all noted for their physical stamina and all of whom lived to a ripe age. Notwithstanding his advanced years, Mr. Edsall cultivated this year a lot of seven acres of corn, and he was, until his last illness, in the enjoyment of all his faculties. He was recently in town and discussed his changed color, telling that he was reported ill, but felt fairly well.
The deceased is survived by one brother, WISNER EDSALL of Vernon, NJ and one sister, Mrs CATHARINE DREW of Newburgh. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning.
It seems possible that Sidney conveyed the property to Marvin B. in 1893 see V8-18
