Note: Ywin to Lena. Lived all his life in Rawlins County, attending the Achilles Grade School and Oberlin High School and helped his father on the farm. When he was 14 and Maggie was 12 they attended 2 different schools and as was the custom the schoold visited back & forth. Leo wrote Maggie a note & asked her to marry him and she wrote back she would when she was older. When she was 17 they got married and it lasted 67years. They lived with his folks for awhile & then moved into a 2 room sod house where they started their family of 4 girls and 1 son. When they retired they moved to Atwood,Rawlins, Kansas.
