I don't know how my name got on the Turner Gen. connect board but I'm glad it's there. Clue me in as how you found it. I guess thats not important, whwt is important is that at last I have someone else in the family do research on the Turner Brooks line and maybe we can help each other. I will tell you the connections I have made so far. They are mainly from census records and vital statistics. Here goes. Stephen Finlay TURNER(our Grandfather) bn:18 July 1863, Brighton, Northumerland Co., Ont. d:2 Nov 1946, Stettler, AB Md: 20 Oct 1885, Picton, Ont. Frances (Fanny) S. James Abbot TURNER(bro. to Stephen) bn: 26 Nov. 1866, Brighton,Ont. d: 15 Jan1915, Wellington, P.E. Md: Minnie HITCHOCK Father: John Henry(went by Henry) TURNER. I have more info. but this is the most imp. I have been unable to find anymore info on Henry TURNER (gr.grandfather), his death or parents. Grandpa TURNER (Stephen) always told Mom, that his Dad died when he was about 14, which would be about 1877. 1871 census shows Stephen TURNER age 7, with Richard TRUMPOUR family 1871 " " James TURNER age 5, with John & Catherine BROOKS, his grandparents 1881 " " " " " 14, " Richard TRUMPOUR family. If you can find anymore info. on this line, please let me know and I will do the same. We really need to get together and go over what each other has. Thanks, Genevene HEGGIE
