Notes
a. Note:   [rachel.ged] Aaron was deeded 100 acres by his father the same day as his brother, John. This land was a part of the home place of his father (Rutherford Co. Deed Book A, page 34.) When Bedford Co., TN was opened for settlement, Aaron was one of the first settlers. He bought 200 acres from the noted general, Newton Cannon (Bedford Co. Deed Book B, page 37-38), who held large grants in this part of the state. Aaron left a will but it was destroyed when the courthouse burned during the Civil War.
