Notes
a. Note:   R OF ENGLAND (widow of Henry I), 1st daughter ofGodefroy à la Barbe, DUKE OF LOTHIER (i.e. Lorraine Inférieure), COUNT OFBRABANT AND LOUVAIN, by his 1st wife, Ide, daughter of Albert III, COUNTOF NAMUR. His wife, the Queen Dowager, retired in 1150 to a nunnery atAfflighem, in South Brabant, where she died, and was buried 23 April1151, aged about 48. He survived her 25 years, and died 12 October 1176,at Waverley Abbey, Surrey, and was buried, with his father, at WymondhamPriory, Norfolk. [Complete Peerage I:233-35, XIV:37, (transcribed byDave Utzinger)] Note: I have Ide, with multiple sources, as daughter of Otto II Count ofChiny, not "Albert III Count of Namur". I have her as granddaughter ofAlbert III. AR, plus at least two (there are more) postings tosoc.genealogy.medieval, agree with my pedigree. AR points to a"Brandenberg 52-56" as the source for inserting Otto II & Adelaide deNamur between Ida of Saxony & Albert III de Namur.
Note:   He [William d'Aubigny] married, in 1138 (the 3rd year of her widowhood)Adeliz, QUEEN DOWAGE
