*Obituary Rogers Democrat Thursday, March 22, 1928 CHANCE, Leora DEASON - from Lowell Mrs. Leora Chance, 31 years old, of Little Rock, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.W. Deason of Lowell, died in Little Rock hospital Thursday night, March 15th at 8 o'clock. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. L.L. Johnson from the Presbyterian church of Lowell Sunday afternoon, March 18th. Burial in Goad Springs cemetery. She is survived by her husband and two children, Neal Henry, age 3 years, and Jasper Robert, 15 months of age. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.W. Deason, three sisters, Mrs. P.V. Johnson, Maggie and Gladys Deason of Lowell; two brothers, J.N. Deason of Ponca City, Okla. and S.A. Deason of Vernon, Texas, who were all here for the funeral. Lee, as she was known in Lowell, was one of our sweetest girls and the high esteem in which she was held in this community was shown Sunday by the immense crowd that was here to attend the funeral and the many beautiful flowers. The church was packed until no more could get in and dozens stood on the outside. We extend sympathy to the entire family in their sad hour of bereavement.
