  DEASON, Amanda Mahala- Mrs. Amanda Mahala Deason, 83, mother of Mrs. Lee Allen of Bentonville, was buried in Pleasant Grove southwest of Rogers last Thursday afternoon following funeral services there. Mrs. Deason passed away at the Allen home last Wednesday. Besides Mrs. Allen she is survived by another daughter, Mrs. Rena Pace of Westville, Okla., and two sons, H.W. Deason of Lowell and J.N. Deason of Springdale. [Benton County Record & Democrat & Sun 6/4/31]
  Mrs. Amanda Mahala Deason, 82, of Lowell, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lee Allen, in Bentonville at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Pleasant Grove cemetery with J.W. Bryant in charge of burial arrangements. Mrs. Deason had made her home with Mrs. Allen for some time. Surviving are two sons, H.W. Deason of Lowell and J.N. Deason, Springdale; and two daughters, Mrs. Rena Pace, Westville, Okla. and Mrs. Lee Allen, Bentonville. [Rogers Democrat 6/4/31]
