The Fresno Bee- The Republican-page 4 Wednesday, 26 Sept 1945 Obituaries Thomas O Bromley, 62, of 657 Blackstone Avenue, a roofing salesman and a resident of this community for the past 11 months died suddenly at about 6:30 o'clock last night in the Otto Shepard home at 1477 Patterson Avenue. The coroner's office reported his death apparently was caused by a heart attack. Bromley was born in Tennessee. He is survived by his widow, Mrs Maggie Bromley of Fresno; three daughters, Mrs Gladys Sharp, Mrs Lila Hunt and Mrs Mary Frances Cheaney, all of Fresno, a brother, L.C. Bromley, and a sister, Mrs. J. C. Smith of Tennessee. Rev. Bromley, a native of Tennessee, was a retired Baptist minister. He was a graduate of Athens College in Tennessee and was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Knoxville, Tenn. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 11 AM in the chapel of the Colonial Funeral Home with Rev. James C. Matthews, pastor of the Belmont Avenue Baptist Church, officiating.

Mrs. Maggie Osborn, Bus Ticket Clerk, Dies Funeral services for Mrs. Maggie Elizabeth Osborn, 44, of 302 Michigan Avenue, a ticket clerk in the Greyhound Bus Depot at Mariposa and H Streets for nine years, will be conducted tomorrow at 11 AM in the Lisle Funeral Home. Mrs. Osborn died Saturday in a local hospital after a short illness. A native of Arkansas, she had lived here for 10 years. She is survived by her husband Iren L of Fresno; a stepson, Charles Warren of Los Angeles; a stepdaughter, Mrs Aloha Marie Roberts of Pittsburg; two brothers, Seth A Deason of Texas and James N Deason of Kansas; two sisters, Mrs Evelyn Ardelean of Fresno and Mrs Gladys Hunter of Redondo Beach, and three grandchildren. Rev Gabriel Guedj of the Memorial Baptist Church will officiate at the final rites. Burial will be in the Belmont Memorial Park.
Uncle Neil told me, Maggie had diabetes and they thought she was having a diabetic problem not realizing she was having a heart attack til it was too late.
