Note: In the 1920 census, Allen and his 5 daughters were counted with his Father-in-law, Elihue Mosley. Elihue was the son of Henry Mosley and Hettie Whitehead. (Allen went west several times to seek his fortune, according to Uncle James and Aunt Gladys. He used to stay at Boyd Mosley's house when he would return from his western forays, and he gave James and Gladys "gold nuggets" which he told them he had mined from the gold fields. Aunt Gladys and Uncle James told me that the nuggets turned out to be fools gold. source: Glenn Mosley, Hyden, KY
