Julia A. Hege Julia Aaron Hege, 88, of Friendship Church Road, died Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2002, at Brian Center Nursing Home. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, by the Rev. Tommy Robertson. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. Mrs. Hege was born March 25, 1914, in Davidson County to Thomas Jefferson Aaron and Essie Shoaf Aaron. She was a retired hairdresser and was a member of Fairview Garden Club and a nationally credited flower show judge. She was also a member of the Tuesday Bridge Club and the Home Extension Club. Mrs. Hege was a member of Wesley Heights United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Hege, in 1999 and by a son, Robert Hege. Surviving are a son, Allen Hege of Lexington; three grandchildren, Morgan Hege, Matthew Hege and Sarah Hege, all of Lexington; one sister, Alma Effind of Charlotte; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and other times at the residence, 908 Friendship Church Road. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, P.O.
