STONE. Henry C. BREEDLOVE, born March 2, 1836, Ross Co., Ohio, died March 12, 1892, was brought to Cham- paign County at the age of 12 by his uncle, Elijah(sic) BREEDLOVE from [of] Wayne Township. Henry married Mary J. STONE who was born in Fairfield County, Ohio, the daughter of Thomas F. STONE and Mary STONE of Cable, Ohio. (Note: The Henry C. BREEDLOVE here is the same 'minor' that had Lewis J.(sic) BREEDLOVE as Guardian, in the case mentioned below) The data also from the enclosure to the above PARNELL letter. Note: His name was spelled "Lewis" in the above document but was signed "Louis." It must be assumed that he pre- ferred that spelling. He was married to Elizabeth BREEDLOVE-1135 4 DEC 1851 ANOMALY(1): There is a problem with his middle initial! It seems to be "I" in some instances which might be logically correct to carry on the IGOU name, i.e. in the STAFFORD Bible where surely his mother would know his name since IGOU was her maiden name and on the grave marker as well. In the newspaper account of his marriage, the "J" was used as well in the above mentioned Ross County Probate Court case #674!
