BREEDLOVE, born March 2, 1836, Ross Co., Ohio, died March 12, 1892, was brought to Champaign County at the age of 12 (i.e. 1848) by his uncle, Elijah BREEDLOVE from [of] Wayne Township. Henry married Mary J. STONE who was born in Fairfield County, Ohio, the daughter of Thomas F. STONE and Mary STONE of Cable, Ohio. (Note: The Henry C. BREEDLOVE here is the same 'minor' that had Louis I. BREEDLOVE as Guardian, in the case men- tioned above) !GUARDIANSHIP: 3 Nov 1855 Louis I. BREEDLOVE was appointed by the Champaign County Court for "Henry C. BREEDLOVE, aged 19 years March 2nd 1855 and John A. BREEDLOVE, aged 17 years May 11th 1855", minor heirs and legal representatives of "William BREEDLOVE" late of Ross County, deceased. Note: While this document spelled "Lewis", he signed as "Louis" which must be assumed to be his preference. !COMPILER'S COMMENT: The above Lewis J.
