An approximate date of 1858 is indicated by the fact that his son, Samuel R., was one year old at the time of the 1860 census and his wife, Mary ROBINSON, was only 19 indicating that she was 17 when married.) (Compiler - this quotation concerns his father, Elijah BREEDLOVE-22. GUARDIAN'S BOND: KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, That we, Samuel Guyton, John H. Runyon and A. T. MacBeth of the State of Ohio and County of Champaign, are held and firmly bound unto the said State in the penal sum of One Thousand Dollars, for the payment of which we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors, and administrators, jointly and severally, firmly by these presents. Sealed with our seals and dated this 27th day of February 1884. The condition of the above obligation is such that whereas, by the Probate Court of the County aforesaid, the above bounden Samuel Guyton hath this day been appointed Guardian of the person and property of Thomas H. Breedlove an adjudged habitual drunkard of Champaign County, Ohio etc. etc. ANOMALY(1): In April 1994 issue of Champaign County Genealogical Society Newslet- ter, page 44, INDEX TO CHANCERY BOOK 38, 29 Jun 1874 - 31 Mar 1876, the following entry: "BREEDLOVE, Emma vs Thomas BREEDLOVE 97 div md 1872 nee Emma FLORIDA 1 child" This compiler has no knowledge as to whether or not this is the same Thomas BREEDLOVE nor whether or not this might be a second marriage.
