Note: !BIRTH: About 1764. However, her father lived and was born in Fauquier County, Virginia about 1738. !MARRIAGE: Abt 1785, the year before the birth of the first son, William-141. While place is not known, it was probably in the adjoining Hampshire County where her father, Daniel RECTOR-708, and her brother, Charles-598 appear in this 1782 Hampshire County census on the list of Michl. CRESAP, both numbered 22. Daniel shows a family of 9, Charles of 2. !DEATH and BURIAL: 1808 Mad River Twp.,Champaign,Ohio,USA. (Her husband married his second wife Rebecca ROUSE-144 6 Feb 1810 Champaign Ohio). Actual burial place is not known. However, early genealogists place the burial place of her husband, Christopher, on the Baker farm - Mad River 1 mi W. of Valley Road - 1 mi. s. of Route 55. "When spring comes, visit Eubank's home on Stony Creek Road in order to see headstones in a farm cemetery. Might be WEAVER. M.A.S." (Compiler's note: M.A.S. was probably Mrs. SKARDON.) !SOURCE: Information on pages 404 & 405 of The History of Cham- paign County, Ohio, published (1881) by W.H. Beers & Compa- ny, Chicago, Illinois, indicates that Christopher Weaver was a brother-in-law of Charles Rector. "At the mouth of Storms Creek, near what is now known as Tremont, Clark County, Charles Rector, with his brother-in-law, Christopher Weaver, settled in 1801." This also indicates that Mary was Charles RECTOR's sister and, therefore, daughter of Daniel RECTOR.
