Page 296: "The first dwelling erected in Twin township was the cabin of Lewis Igo, erected in the fall of 1797. The first white child born was Paul, son of Lewis Igo born February 2, 1799. He is still living in Illi- nois. Mary, sister of Paul, and Mary Keran, daughter of William Keran were born in 1800, and were among the first female children born in the township. Mary Igo became the wife of Elijah Breedlove, and now lives in Urbana, Ohio. Mary Keran (afterwards McGinnis), died in 1879, in Hardin County, Ohio." Whether or not these were the parents of Elizabeth Recobs-991 who married Daniel Igou in 1818 is not known, but is placed here as a matter of possible interest.
