Contains marriage, death and burial data. Also in the same package were copies of newspaper clippins etc. from the Onondaga Historical Association, 311 Montgomery St., Syracuse NY 13202. !MARRIAGE: From newspaper clipping dated 26 Jun 1843 included in the above: "At Salina, N.Y. on Tuesday, the 20th inst., by the Rev. Mr. Heas in St. John's Church, Jno. E. White, Esq., of the city of New York, Counseller at Law, to Lucy A., daughter of James Lynch, Esq., of the former place." !DEATH: Clipping with the above, N.Y. Tribune 9/19/53: "WHITE-On Monday the 18th September, at the residence of her father, James Lynch, Esq. in the City of Syracuse, Lucy A., wife of John E. White, Esq., Counsellor at Law of this City, aged 35 years. Beloved by all who knew her, the cheerful, uncomplaining, patient and true religious spirit with which she bore the long suffering of protracted ill-health, have, with her other virtues, found now, we trust, their recompense of eternal happiness. Fervently many a heart that loved her repeats, with sad emotion, 'May she rest in peace.'" !ANOMALY: The above SOURCE gives her date of birth as abt 1817 in Salina, New York. The year is not possible since her family did not arrive in Salina until 1824. Too, her marriage date of 18 Sep 1853 would indicate that she may have been in her early 20's. Thus this compiler gives a guess as about 1825 in Salina. NOTE: The Diocese records list her name as "Lucia".
