Notices in New York papers Nov. 11, 1891 3. N. Y. World MCANERNEY-PENDERGAST Miss Florence Marie PENDERGAST and Mr. Marshall J. MCANERNEY were married at 11 o'clock yesterday morning in the Cathedral by Archbishop CORRIGAN. The bride was richly attired in white silk. Her corsage was high, with puffed sleeves and a train long and full. Rufflings of pearl-embroidered chiffon were on the front skirt and bodice. She held a bouquet of roses and lilies of the valley, and her veil fell from a wreath of orange blossoms. Miss MCANERNEY, the maid of honor, was in pink silk, veiled in and flounced with white mousseline de soie. She carried a big bunch of chrysanthemums of the same tint. The two bridesmaids wore yellow silk gowns with draperies of white mousseline de soie, and their chrysanthemum bouquets were of the same color. Their corsages were high and skirts demi-trained. They were the Misses Agnes O'GORMAN , Theresa MCANERNEY, Miss WOODWARD and Miss CRIMMINS. Mr. Preston MCANAERNEY, brother of the bridegroom, was the best man, and the Messrs DELL, FARREILY, KEELY, LAMARCH, JONES and BEDLE the ushers. A wedding breakfast followed only for the bridal party and relatives at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. & Mrs. Charles H. PENDERGAST, at Madison Avenue and Twenty-third street. The rooms were beautifully trimmed with chrysthemums by Stumpp. Mrs. PENDERGAST was finely dressed in gray silk trimmed with cut steel. As the newly married couple were about starting on their wedding journey the bride tossed her bouquet, which was made up in sections, to her bridesmaids. 4. New York Sun MCANERNEY-PENDERGAST The cathedral on Fifth avenue was yesterday morning the scene of a very pretty wedding when Miss Florence Marie PENDERGAST, daughter of Mr. C. H. PENDERGAST, and Mr. Marsahll J. MCANERNEY, a broker of this city, were married. The ceremony was performed on the steps of the grand altar by Archbishop CORRIGAN, assisted by the Rev. Henry T. NEWEY of the cathedral parish. The solemn nuptial with music was afterward celebrated by the Rev. N. N. MCKINNON of St. Francis Xavier's Church, West Sixteenth street. Mr. Preston MCANERNEY, attended his brother as best man. The ushers were Messrs Thomas BEDLE, son of ex_Gov. BEDLE of New Jersey; Scammon JONES, Joseph KEILY, Vincent LAMARCHE, and Charles DALL of Brooklyn and Charles FARRELLY. Miss Mary MCANERNEY, sister of the bridegroom, was the maid of honor. She wore pink muosseline de soie over pink silk and carried a bouquest of pink chrysthemums. The four bridesmaids were Miss Susie CRIMMINS, Miss Mary WOODWARD, and Miss Theresa MCANERNEY. They were apparelled in gowns of white mousseline de soie over yellow silk, and carried bouquets of yellow chrysthemums. From their heads, hung short veils of white tulle, fastened to the coiffure with a golden butterfly, a present from the bride, who also gave the young ladies as a souvenir handsome gold heart pins. Miss PENDERGAST's wedding gown was fastened with orange blossoms. Her only ornament was a broch of diamonds, a present fromn the bridegroom. A wedding breakfast followed at the home of Mr. PENDERGAST, 61 East Seventy-third street. 5. New York Times At St. Patrick's Cathedral yesterdy Miss Florence M. PENDERGAST was married to Marsall I. MCANERNEY, the ceremony being performed by Archbishop CORRIGAN. The bridesmaids were Miss Alice O'GORMAN, Miss Susie CRIMMINS, Miss May WOODWARD, and Miss Theresa MCANERNEY. The ushers were N. Scammon JONES, Thomas BEDLE, Charles DALL, Charles FARRELLY, and Joseph KEILLY. L. Preston MCANERNEY was the best man and Miss Mary MCANERNEY, maid of honor. The bride had many handsome presents, among thme one from Archbishop CORRIGAN. After the ceremony a weddingbreakfast ws served at the residence of Charles PENDERGAST, 61 East Seventy-third Street. Among those present were Mrs. MCANERNEY, Archbishop CORRIGAN, the Rev. Father LAVELLE, Mrs. MCCLOUD, and F. MCKINNON. 6. New York Tribune There was a pretty wedding at St. Patrick's Cathedral, Fifth-ave. and Fiftieth-st. yesterday morning when Miss Florence Marie PENDERGAST, daughter of C. H. PENDERGAST, was married to Marshall J. MCANERNEY. of the New York Stock Exchange. Archbishop CORRIGAN officiated assisted by the Rev. Henry T. NEWEY of the Cathedral parish. The nuptial mass was celebrated by the Rev. N. N. MCKINNON of St Francis Xavier Church. The best man was Preston MCANERNEY, brother of the bridegroom, and the ushers were Charles DALL and Vincent LAMARCHE, of Brooklyn; Joseph KEILEY, Scammon JONES, Charles FARLEY and Thomas BEDLE. Miss Mary MCANERNEY was the maid of honor, and the bridesmaids were Miss Agnes O'GORMAN, Miss Theresa MCANERNEY, Miss Susie CRIMMINS, and Miss Mary WOODWARD. A breakfast followed at the home of the bride, No. 61 East Seventy-third-st. Clark serving. MCANERNEY; #3(301) Florence M.; #4(332) John H.; #4(134) Beatrice; #5(310) Marshall (junior). !REMARKS(1): The compiler was very close to his grandmother till her death and remembers his grandparents homes at Garden City, Long Island, NY around the time of World War I, their summer home on the North Shrewsbury River at Fairhaven N.J., an apartment in Flushing, Long Island, a home in Douglaston Park, L.I., an apartment in Great Neck, L.I. and the home in Great Neck where Grandfather MCANERNEY died. Grandmother sold that home and moved to the Wychwood apartments across from the Great Neck railroad station where she died many years later. The compiler made many automobile trips with his grandmother who furnished the automobile and the money while as a teenager and also in his mid-twenties, the compiler did the driving.
