a. Note:   evening with cremation following for Mr. Ross A. Naylor, 58, who diedat Thursday morning in a local hospital.
 Mr. Naylor was born on Sept. 13, 1912 in San Louis Obispo and wasthe son of the late Emmett and Lena Naylor of San Louis Obispo. Mr.Naylor had lived in Santa Barbara County for the past 20 years andlast resided at 521 N. Bonita. In 1946 he married Lucille (Susan)Drews. For the past 11 1/2 years Mr. Naylor was in industrialrelations for the Lockheed Aerospace Corp. at Vandenburg Air ForceBase. Mr. Naylor was a member of the California State EmployeesAssociation, a past president of the Santa Maria Exchange Club and amember of the board of Directors of the Santa Maria Press Club. Hewas a founding father of the Northern Santa Barbara United Fund andalso served as a past president. Mr. Naylor was a member of the FirstChristian Church, The advisory Committee of the Santa Barbara WelfareDepartment and the National Management Association Vandenburg AirForce Chapter. He was a former board member of the Santa Maria ValleyChamber of Commerce and former chairman of the Community ActionCommission and a charter member of the Santa Maria Valley YMCA.
 Mr. Naylor was the first president of the Missile Space RecreationAssociation and a board member of that organization. He was pastLieutenant Governor of District 29 of Kiwanis International and pastpresident of the Santa Maria Kiwanis Club. He was on the board ofdirectors of the U.S.O. Santa Maria Servicemen's center at the time ofhis death.
 Survivors include his widow, Lucille (Susan) Naylor; two sons, EdNaylor of Santa Maria and Sam Bowser of Norman Oklahoma; a daughterFlorence Pope of Arroyo Grande; a brother, Harry Naylor of South Gate;two sisters, Mrs. Grace Gillespie of Santa Rosa and Mrs. Helen Warrenof Los Angeles; and two grandchildren.
