a. Note:   "My father Leland worked in the "peeling plant" at Pacific Lumber Company (P.L.) the biggest plywood mill in the world.. its located in Scotia Ca.
 I believe my father worked there for 35 years.. He died one month and
 one day after his retirement at age 65.
 My father was a good man, hard worker, great hunter and fisherman. He
 always had an acre in veggies and flowers. The grounds of our home were
 immaculate. When not at P.L. you could find my father w/ "spade" in hand
 working in his garden. My father loved to work. He was a man of few
 words, I never knew him to have an enemy. A man of simple wants and
 needs, but a great man. I cannot say enough good about my Dad."
