a. Note:   Tryphena Loveland was born in Springfield, Erie Co., Pa., Sept. 26, 1820, married in Morcer Co., Pa., 1846 to Joseph G. Dean, born in Mercer Co., Oct. 22, 1822. She died at Belleville, Wis., Aug. 27, 1864, and is buried in the cemetery near the village of Exeter, Wis. In 1857 they settled at Albany, Wis. In the spring of 1859 they moved to Attica, Wis., and in the fall of the same year to Belleville, where they lived until Tryphena's death.
