  Although the official marriage took place in 1914 it is possible they married earlier in church but the registration was omitted. As Henry was about to join the Royal Field Artillery at the start of WW1 he would have needed to prove marriage for his wife to receive pay etc.
  Henry served in the Royal Navy WW1 Corps RFA Reg Pte No 42165 Victory Medal British 15 Star RFA/13 13770 for war service in France from 26/8/1915. Served on HMAS TRIBUNE which was scrapped in 1911.
  1901 Census has Caroline born Middx - Henry was at sea aboard HMAS TRIBUNE. Robert and wife Caroline and brother James were living in Canterbury Rd BERMONDSEY

  Note: Junior school registration at Ancestry web site and his birthday is down as 9th may 1882.� His father enrolled him on 21st June 1886 at Rolls Rd school in Southwark as �Harry Underwood.�� He was re-registered at the same school on the 14th October 1889.�� Less than a year later he was registered at Comber Grove school on 16th June 1890 but under his proper name of Henry.�sister Maud was born 8th June 1883 and she started school on 27th June 1887 at Rolls Rd Southwark.�� And James his younger brother was born 3rd May 1885 and he attended Rolls Rd on the 17th June 1889.��

 Their other brother, Walter Robert born 1st June 1882 went to Harper Street on the 8th November 1886 registered by his mother Eliza.
