Note: I have found evidence that James and Daniel Nicholas were married in Madison Co, Ky at Fort Boonesville, James Nicholas to Polly Proctor in1792 and Daniel Nicholas to Mary Alexander 1790. This information follows family stories my Grand Father Ralph Nicholas told me that our family knew Daniel Boone and was with him in Kentucky.
